PostSubject: Court of the Angels   Mon Nov 02, 2009 12:12 pm

Gigantic would be a big underestimation of this place. It most of all seems like a giant cathedral made of pure white stone. The walls are as smooth and bright as the light. This is a place where no unholy creatures may walk; they would burn if they tried because of all the angelic magic. This is the one building closest connected to god, it is from here that the archangels takes any decisions.

The inside is actually only one giant room, with marble like pedestals consisting with the amount of archangels. The room itself is actually a liven sentient being, and therefore adapts to what is going on inside of it if there needs more chair inside the room, then it summon more chairs, if it would need running water, then it would make that.

Only archangels are allowed to enter this place, unless if an archangel summon you. Even the archangels are not allowed to come here, unless whatever they are doing here is very important, and needs to be known by god to. Especially if they would need god’s advise in the matters at hand.

Zerachiel was seating on his marble pedestal, he was one of the highest seating people in the room. He had called all Angels far and wide to gather, he had some serious information that they needed. The Earth was plunging into Chaos, and it seemingly wasn't because of Lucifer, though he could have had a hand in that matter to. Zerachiel was yet sure about that.

Zerachiel was not in his normal little boy form, this time he had taken on the appearance of a huge glowing angel, so bright that only the holy eye of other angels could look at him without being burned, his wings was so big that few angels had seen anything as big, and they were also made of the purest light. He turned his glowing head around and looked over at the other seats that were just as high as his, the other archangels had yet to be heard from they had been lying unusually quite. Zerachiel did not like that one bit.

The angels streamed into the gigantic room, most of them had never been here. Normally this place was only used by the archangels, but this was urgent and serious, it had to be dealt with as fast as possible.

As kage raced through the sky he heard a soft howl off in the distance. Remembering the two he knew one day he would have to return. Why do i feel so drawn to that child? Seeing the city before him he slowed his speed.

Oh how long its been since i set my eyes upon this land. Heading for the court's location which he knew by heart he did not stop for anything. the time had come to repot back and see what was to be said by the archangels. Entering he say the majestic presences before him and all the others seated there.

Taking his place he silently wondered what was going on. Have they decided we are to stay here? Is the earth in trouble? When will we know? So many thoughts at once he took a deep breath. Deciding it best to wait Kage relaxed and glanced around the room at the others with faces as confused as his own.

"I have called you all here firstly because I have sad news." Zerachiel looked around with his glowing head. A faint spark could be seen falling from it. "Metatron, my teacher, and one of the first Archangels have died." Zerachiel couldn't help it when the glow became a little fainter; the sadness was affecting him more than he had thought. Zerachiel could remember the days he had spent with Metatron; Practically Metatron had been the city leader before him, the one to teach Zerachiel before letting him take over.

"But let that not sadden you, we got more pressing matters." Zerachiel couldn't feel god anywhere, the the holy light or spirit was faintly there. "The demons are becoming stronger, a war is upon us, and I fear that they will risk the lives of all the species, both good and evil." Zerachiel was fully concentrated now. And he glowed brighter than ever. "So now I give everyone a mission, to protect all the species, and to exterminate the demons.... This is god's will." Zerachiel looked at the pedestals where the other archangels should have been sitting, but they weren't there. Gone Zerachiel could only hope that they hadn't been killed or died like Metatron had.

Zerachiel didn't know half of the angels down there, but he could see what they were feeling, sadness, rage and so on. All the feelings that so easily corrupted the mortals.

[Using the angel Metatron as a former Archangel so the other Archangels still can be chosen from, if anyone wants to create one. ]

With wind pushing through his robes, Hael sat patiently at one of the chairs as Zerachiel spoke. He bowed his head with sadness as Zerachiel concluded his speech, but he quickly overcame this by pushing himself towards action. Hael stood, picking up his jeweled claymore that laid beside him and slowly walked to the front of the room. He knew Zerachiel well and had fought beside him once before and wanted to see if he had a certain task for him.

"Friend, where may I be of service," Hael asked while strapping the claymore to his side properly.

I have missed to much in my slumber. After hearing Zerachiel's speech he knew what had to be done. Grabbing Up Aidel he set off to prepare himself. The time i feared those years ago has come about.

Duty bound as he was before and now re bound he head to the archangel to give loyalty and to introduce himself as the protector he was born to be. I have not seen these ones fight before. I only hope they fight for what is right.

Aproaching the high seats he saw another angel there and decided to wait to aproach. Slowly cleaning his blade and saying a prayer for a safe trip and fight for the angels and good species alike. Aidel, we must ready for war once more. A chill ran his spine. It is time.

Feet stomped everywhere as Ramel scattered to find cover. No one noticed him thankfully because someone would follow the regular frightful panic of pointing himself out to others; then those others create a domino effect of more frightened females; then Ramel gets into trouble for terrifying half the angels in all of Areneif. 'Why are so many people afraid of me? I don't think I could hurt anyone without getting myself killed in the process...' Ramel scurried up to Hael, the one being he trusts in this world, and ran up his leg and onto his shoulder. Hael patted him and handed him a large crumb from his pouch. Ramel chewed quietly watching what his master/, but more importantly, his friend was up to.

"Friend, where may I be of service," Zerachiel heard the familiar voice of Hael, a good hearted angel and one of the better warrior angels he knew. He could see there were someone else with him, and not only the mouse. Which actually was not supposed to be here, but since it was with Hael, and seemingly harmless then he would allow it. “Greetings Hael, I see you guessed I already got work for you.” Zerachiel said he was glad to see that his friend hadn’t been hurt, he guessed he hadn’t been near the demon city. “The mission I am about to give you is very important… It is important for you to, back here.” Zerachiel said while looking at both Kage, Hael, and Somewhat on Ramel.

I want you three to go to Griof, contact the leader… He has been behaving strange lately, and I want to know why.” Zerachiel didn’t like having to send them to Griof since it had become more dangerous lately, and he wanted to avoid having to send his angels anywhere dangerous. But he had a feeling that if anyone knew about what was going on down there, then it would be the leader. Though if possible he was worse than a demon, Zerachiel knew that he would speak the truth if given something in return, and kill if not.

Do you two think you can handle this mission?” Zerachiel asked concerned on both angels, he didn’t know the second one, but he was sure that he was supposed to go with Hael.

Hael processed the inforation for a few seconds then looked over to the angel he was to work with. A few questions formed in his mind that he could not help to ask. "Where will we find this leader, and can you come with us? " This did not satisfy all of his questions but still would settle his mind till he left the city.

Hearing this information Kage did a side glance at the angel he was now told he was working with. I know nothing of him but i will go until he proves to be untrustworthy. "I am able to go with you. We can leave whenever you are prepared. " he spoke answering the angels initial questions. "My name is Kagemusha but you may call me Kage. What is yours good sir?"

"My name is Hael," Hael said with an outstretched hand. He liked this younger looking angel for some reason; he could tell they were going to be good friends at some point. "We shall be leaving soon after I retrieve just a little more information on the task. You may prepare your weapons and gear and meet me just outside the city gates if you like. I am already packed."

"Good met Hael. I shall prepare myself and meet you near the entrance then." Kage gave one more look to the angel Hale before turning to finish his preparations. He seems to be one i shall like fighting beside.

Hael nodded to Kage and quickly turned to Zerachiel. He could tell the death of an Archangel saddened Zerachiel greatly. "I think it is safe to say you will not be able to come with us on this quest, correct?"

Heleyna fluttered down through the open roof of the court room. She was certain she had been summoned, but she may have been wrong. She had a request that had been pressing her for hours the entire day. She looked up at Zerachiel, who sat in the court seat, and bowed in respect to the high Angel.

"My Lord, Zerachiel, You summoned me?" she asked uncertainly, still bowing. She didn't want to make herself look like a fool in front of the revered Angel.

I was certain I was summoned here for something... she thought to herself.

Cyena flew through the city following the aura of her partner Kage. Heading towards the Court of the Angels where she knew he was she landed in a window and watched the scene below her. "Kage i have returned again to you. Where be you in this crowd?" she said in the language of her kind knowing he could understand her. Searching the crowd she decided to wait for his response.
