Kosuke's Layer

The layer of the dragon shifter Kosuke is in the mountains on the outskirts of the city. It is wide mouthed at the front of the cave but narrows down into a comfy little home for his human self. It is very simple and the only electronic things he has are a tv, some lights, and working plumbing.

Kosuke sat in his tiny den watching tv. He was getting bored again. It was about time to venture out into the wide world and try to find his creator. He stood up and walked to the edge of the cave in the mountains of Foro. He took his clothes off and strapped on a backpack with a strap so long that it would accommodate his dragon neck after he transformed. He stuffed his clothes in it and concentrated on himself. He could feel his bones starting to crack. A familiar sensation when he shifted. The hair on the top of his head hardened and split into scales. His body grew in size until he was 40 feet long and 20 feet tall. He felt his wings grow at the same time and when he was done transforming he stood at the mouth of his cave and stretched his lean black shiny scaled body. His scaled gave off a purple sheen when they shined in the sun. He stretched out his wings and flew off to his unknown destination.

A tranquil peace spread over the vicinity in a collective haze, giving off an unperturbed sensation to all that inhabited the terrain or even those who had for the first time set foot on the supple loam of the wooded mountain. Even the tributary was hushed, rippling soundlessly under the clear, glassy surface. Oddly, no frondescence bound verdure littered the sodden abode, though patches of green blades speckled the mire haphazardly here and there. The solar mother had cast down her golden luminosity quite generously between each evenly placed timber, giving off an ambiance of composed bliss and serenity. Overhead, the beryl heavens were clear, though occasionally a pallid compilation of moisture would float flippantly across the azure. Such panoramas were so soothing to those who stopped and paid consideration to the innate landscapes, but for some, they held no such approbation.

Quiet, lagged breaths interrupted the silence, though what breathtaking inhalations they were. Coming from a beautiful protracted muzzle, and ample, flawlessly spherical nostrils set upon the end of an auburn mug. Nestling just above them in slight sockets, were two ice blue eyes staring intently forward, while her ears lie parallel behind the skull, tips brushing against the thin nape. The body was narrow and agile, trailing down to expose a quad of equally sprightly limbs. A long, slender tail protruded from the female’s rump, brushing the ground with each movement of her paws. Everything on the creature was slender and sleek; though muscles were evident, rippling along her shoulders and haunches with each step she took. Truly a beautiful beast, feminine and astoundingly seductive; guaranteed to get your blood pounding as soon as you saw her. And she moved with such elegance and grace that her stride resembled that of a ghost’s; silent and ethereal.

A rather callous zephyr rippled past the mountain range, making whip like reverberations as the gust lashed the mocha bark on the foliage. But along with the squall ambled a scent that the feline hadn’t had the dignified nobility of smelling in quite a while; another creature! It was of the opposite sex; masculine, enthralling, and entirely striking. Pulling in a generous amount of oxygen, the large cat was able to dissect the aroma she received, sanctifying her qualms on the sex of the opposing creature; though it had a reptilian scent to it.

Pulling forth agile limbs, the bi-tinged female pursued her swift ingress, though this time in the universal course of the fragrance. Her nose led her right below the mouth of a large cave, causing her to strain her head upwards to lock her gaze on the magnificent dragon that stood at the mouth. Not wanting to irritate the creature, she simply sat on her haunches and waited to see if it would notice her..and hopefully it wasn’t hostile…she just needed some company --- even if that was very out of the norm for her personality.
